About Agile Design School

A design school built on studio rigor, not short tutorials.

Agile Design School is a professional UX/UI and product design school in Hyderabad, India. We were founded to close a real gap: most designers in startups and mid-size companies are never shown how top agencies and product companies actually run the design process end to end.

We teach that process directly — research, framing, UI craft, critique and handoff — the way it happens inside real product teams. Every programme is organised by career stage rather than one generic course: starting out, switching careers, sharpening craft, or building design capability for a whole team.

Our Programmes

A programme suite for every design career stage

Like a serious professional school, our course architecture is organised by learner maturity — early career, specialist growth, product leadership and PG-level depth.

Student voices

I came in only knowing how to open Figma. By the end, I could explain every decision on my screen — research, flow, and interface — in an interview without freezing. That's what actually got me the offer.

Mounika UX/UI Designer · Agile Design School graduate

Agile Design School was the first place that showed me how a real product team actually works — from a messy brief to a shipped, handed-off design. That process is what got me hired.

Our Philosophy

A school for people who want to design with judgement, not just decoration.

We deliberately avoid teaching “pretty UI” in isolation. Every learner is trained to justify design decisions with research, business context and usability evidence — because that is what separates a designer who gets hired and promoted from one who only makes attractive screens.

Why Study Here

Why choose Agile Design School?

A design education is only worth it if it changes what you can actually do. Here's what makes ours different, in six points.

Practitioner-Led

Mentors bring product, UX research, UI systems and business experience into the studio — not just theory.

Research-Backed

Students learn interviews, synthesis, usability and behavioural insight before jumping to screens.

India-Relevant

Assignments focus on fintech, health, education, SaaS, commerce and public-service journeys relevant to India.

Studio Rigor

Learners work through critiques, simulations, capstones and presentation reviews — not passive video lessons.

Alumni Network

Graduates stay connected through critique sessions, portfolio reviews, talks and hiring-focused showcases.

Certified Outcomes

Every learner is assessed and certified against a public curriculum and rubric, with a verifiable certificate ID.

Outcomes

Design education that leads to hiring conversations, not just certificates.

We measure success by what a learner can show, not just what they've attended. Every track ends in a portfolio-ready case study, reviewed in a live jury — because that is what actually gets a design career moving in a first job, a career switch, or a promotion into product leadership.

  • Portfolio-ready graduates — case studies covering research, UI craft and product thinking, built for hiring conversations.
  • Growing alumni network — graduates return as mentors, panel jurors and referrers for the next batch.

Frequently Asked Questions

UI/UX design courses at Agile Design School — answered directly

What is the difference between UI and UX design?
UX (User Experience) design focuses on how a product works and feels to use — research, flows and usability — while UI (User Interface) design focuses on how a product looks: layout, typography and visual style. Most professional roles expect both, which is why Agile Design School teaches UX and UI together rather than as separate skills.
Which UI/UX design course is best for a fresher with no design background?
A structured, portfolio-based UX/UI foundations programme is best for freshers. The Professional Certificate in UX/UI Design at Agile Design School is built for beginners and career switchers, taking you from research fundamentals to a job-ready, jury-reviewed portfolio in 4–6 months.
Is UX/UI design a good career option in 2026?
Yes. UX/UI design remains one of the most in-demand digital careers in 2026 as fintech, SaaS, healthcare and e-commerce companies continue investing in user experience. Demand is strongest for designers who can show research-backed portfolio work — the core focus of every Agile Design School programme.
Do I need to know coding to learn UX/UI design?
No. Design tools like Figma, along with design thinking, research methods and prototyping, are the real foundation of the field. Coding knowledge can help later for developer handoff but is not a prerequisite to enrol.
What is the salary of a UX/UI designer in India?
Entry-level UX/UI designers in India typically start between ₹3–6 LPA, mid-level designers earn approximately ₹8–14 LPA, and senior product designers or design leads can earn ₹15–30 LPA or more. Salary is driven heavily by portfolio strength and the ability to explain design decisions — which is why Agile Design School uses portfolio and jury-based evaluation.
How long does it take to become a UX/UI designer?
Most learners become job-ready within 4 to 6 months through a focused evening/weekend programme that includes real projects and portfolio review. The Professional Certificate is structured for exactly this timeline, with the option to continue into the 11-month PG Programme.
What is the difference between a certificate course and the PG Programme?
A certificate course (4–6 months) gets you job-ready for entry-level UX/UI roles quickly. The PG Programme (11 months) is built for depth — research, UI, product strategy and design leadership — for learners who want a comprehensive, senior-track credential.
Can working professionals learn UX/UI design without quitting their job?
Yes. Agile Design School offers evening, weekend and blended schedules specifically designed for working professionals, and admissions counselling maps your schedule and profile to the right course format.
