How the 10 days run

Weekend by weekend

Every weekend follows the studio rhythm: teach → build → critique. You work on a real project throughout — yours or a live brief — so learning compounds instead of evaporating.

Weekend 1 · Language as interface

Why copy fails; comprehension science; teardown of flows where words broke the experience; select your project flow.

Weekend 2 · Microcopy craft

Buttons, forms, errors and confirmations — rewrite your flow's critical moments under live editorial critique.

Weekend 3 · Voice systems

Define voice and tone, build the mini-guide, and stress-test it across sensitive scenarios: failures, payments, rejections.

Weekend 4 · Content for AI & edge cases

Prompts, AI responses, disclosures; localisation and plain-language passes; empty and loading states that keep trust.

Weekend 5 · Test & present

Run comprehension tests on your rewrite, iterate, and present the before/after with evidence to the cohort and a content design manager.

What you'll learn

Skills you'll actually use on Monday

  • Microcopy that reduces support tickets: buttons, errors, empty states
  • Voice and tone systems that scale across a product
  • Writing for constraints: character limits, localisation, plain language
  • Content in AI interfaces: prompts, responses, disclosures
  • Testing copy: comprehension and preference methods

What you'll leave with

Artifacts, not just notes

  • A rewritten end-to-end product flow
  • A voice & tone mini-guide for your product
  • A content pattern library: errors, empties, confirmations

Who should attend

  • Designers who fill mockups with lorem ipsum
  • Writers and marketers moving into product
  • PMs who own copy nobody else will

Why only 15 seats

Small on purpose

Fifteen is the largest cohort where every participant's work can be critiqued live, every weekend, by the facilitator and peers. Bigger rooms turn workshops into webinars — and webinars don't change how you work.

Weekends only, because this is built for working professionals: no leave applications, no career pause — just ten deliberate days that compound.

Workshop FAQ

Straight answers

Do I need to be a strong writer already?
You need to care about words; the craft is teachable. Editors are made in critique, and critique is what this is.
Is this useful for non-native English speakers?
Especially — plain-language and structure techniques matter more than flourish, and we address multilingual Indian products directly.
Can I bring my company's product?
Yes; rewriting your own flows is the fastest path to visible impact at work.
Certificate?
A completion certificate with verifiable ID, plus a rewritten flow that speaks louder.
