PG Programme in UI/UX & AI Product Design

India's product teams need designers who can ship AI-era products — not just draw screens. This 12-month, AI-first PG builds end-to-end capability through live studios, design sprints and real briefs, with a weekday campus path in Hyderabad and a weekend online path for working professionals.

Overview

About the programme

A 12-month, AI-first postgraduate programme that takes you from learner to shipping product designer — interface craft, UX research, AI-native design patterns and real product cycles with live teams, ending in a jury-defended portfolio of shipped work. Instruction is delivered through live, instructor-led sessions rather than pre-recorded video, with assessment based on project work and a final portfolio review — not attendance.

Curriculum

What you will learn, stage by stage

Term 1 (Months 1–3) · Foundations of UX & Interface Craft

Research fundamentals with real participants from month one; interaction design; typography, colour and layout systems; Figma at professional depth — auto layout, components, variables. Exit with your first tested, defensible flows.

Term 2 (Months 4–6) · Product Thinking & Systems

Product discovery and problem framing; metrics and experimentation literacy; design systems and tokens; developer handoff through Dev Mode. Includes a full design sprint alongside engineers and product managers.

Term 3 (Months 7–9) · AI-Native Product Design

Patterns for chat, copilots and agent interfaces; prompts as a design material; uncertainty, confidence, trust and graceful failure; AI-augmented research and production workflows. Build and test an AI-powered feature end-to-end.

Term 4 (Months 10–11) · Live Product Cycles

Industry briefs with partner teams under real constraints — dark-pattern audits and retention redesigns, checkout-recovery challenges, an internal AI-copilot dashboard. You ship work that has users, deadlines and trade-offs.

Term 5 (Month 12) · Portfolio, Jury & Placement

Case studies of shipped work — problem, evidence, decisions, outcome; external jury defence before senior designers; interview and negotiation coaching; placement drive into the 450+ company network.

Why this programme

Three reasons learners choose it

AI-first by design

Every term treats AI as material and teammate — patterns, prompts and judgement — not a bolt-on module at the end.

You ship, not simulate

Live studios and sprints with real teams; your portfolio shows shipped flows with users, constraints and outcomes.

Two paths, one standard

Weekday campus in Hyderabad or weekend online for working professionals — same mentors, same jury, same verifiable credential.

Certification & FAQ

A certificate that means something when someone checks it.

You're assessed on real project work and a final portfolio jury — not attendance. Every graduate receives a certificate with a unique, verifiable ID. Assessment rubrics are public.

Who is eligible for this PG programme?
Any bachelor's degree, in any discipline. Design aptitude and commitment matter more than your major — admission includes a short counselling and fit conversation, and working professionals are assessed with their experience in view.
What are the two learning paths?
A weekday campus path in Hyderabad for full-time learners, and a weekend online path with live classes plus structured weekday self-work for working professionals. Same mentors, same juries, same credential — only the schedule differs.
How is this different from the other two PG programmes?
This is the AI-first, shipping-focused PG: it centres on building and shipping AI-era products with live teams. The PG in UX/UI Design goes deepest on craft mastery; the PG in Human-Centred Product Design adds strategy and leadership breadth. Counselling maps you honestly across the three.
What AI skills will I actually learn?
Both sides: designing AI products (chat, copilot and agent patterns, prompts as design material, trust and failure states) and working with AI (research synthesis, ideation and production acceleration — with judgement kept human). Principles are taught to outlive any single tool.
What roles does this prepare me for?
Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, Interaction Designer, and the AI-era specialisations — Conversational UX Designer, AI Product Designer, Prompt Designer for product interfaces, Growth Designer — plus UX Research and Design Systems tracks.
Do I graduate with a portfolio?
That is the point of the programme: a portfolio, not just a certificate — shipped flows, documented decisions, AI-native projects and live-brief work, defended before an external jury that doubles as a hiring showcase.
What about fees, EMI and scholarships?
The fee is ₹2,50,000 with extended EMI tenures for PG programmes, and Scholarship Entrance Test discounts up to 30% apply. GST invoices are available for employer-sponsored seats.
How often do intakes open?
New cohorts open every 15 days; because PG terms are structured, counselling confirms which intake aligns with your path and schedule.

The only way to know if this is right for you is to sit in on a class.

No pressure, no hard sell — a live 45-minute session where you meet a mentor, see how a critique actually works, and ask every question about the curriculum, the batch, and your own starting point.
